Los Angeles, California

Participants will join missionaries David and Monique McGovern in ministering to the Los Angeles California area. Los Angeles has a rich apostolic history; Home to Azusa Street, Arroyo Seco, and the great revivals of the early 20th century. Many regard it as the birthplace of Modern Pentecost and Jesus Name Baptism. We believe it is time for another miraculous Holy Ghost downpour in this city!

Tony & Meghan Gleason

Tony and Meghan both have a passion for ministering to young people. Tony was born and raised in the Oregon City UPC church. As a young adult, he taught Sunday School and continues to coach a Senior Bible Quizzing team. Meghan spent her early years in central California. When she was eleven, her and her parents went to Spain and served as missionaries for three years. During this time they assisted with the Bible School in Madrid, ministered in existing churches, and pioneered a new work in Vigo, a city in northwest Spain. In 2008, Meghan’s family re-located to Oregon City. Meghan taught Sunday School, coached a Junior Bible Quizzing team, and continues to assist in coaching a Senior Bible Quizzing team. Tony and Meghan accepted the position of youth pastor in Oregon City in January of 2018 and were elected Oregon District Youth President in July of 2019. Both Tony and Meghan are very excited to help youth across Oregon reach their potential in God.

AYC, for me, was the single most life changing trip of my life. It was life changing to see 33 Maasai tribe members receive the Holy Ghost, you could see the sweet Holy Spirit all over them. AYC gave me the opportunity to explore my love for missions, and even further my life in missions. I had the feeling I was called to global missions, my AYC trip completely confirmed that for me.
