AYC Timeline

August – October

  • Talk to your Pastor and your parents (or guardians) about your desire to attend an AYC trip.
  • Read over all AYC FAQs, trip information, descriptions and specific SERVE projects.
  • Pray for direction on which trip to choose. Ask others to pray with you.

November – January

  • Apply for AYC! Deadline for all applications is Jan 15th.
  • AYC Acceptance communication will be emailed to you within 10 business days of your completed application.
    • Acceptance email will include a video and preparation guide with your next steps as an AYC Attendee.
  • Go to apostolicyouthcorps.com and thoroughly read through the details. Information such as FAQ’s, Fundraising tips, Spiritual Preparation, Timelines, Budget details, and much more information is available to you.
  • Start fundraising – keeping good records of where monies are coming from (in case you would need to return for any reason). Check out the website for many helpful details.

March

  • 1st payment is due March 1st for Global and North American trips.
    • Make payment by going to the “Funds” tab on the website.
  • Passport Copy is due March 15th for Global and North American trips.
    • Submit by going to the “Prepare for Trip” tab on the website and click on, “Submit Required Documents”.

April

  • 2nd payment is due April 1st for Global and North American trips.
    • Make payment by going to the “Funds” tab on the website.
  • Global and North American trips will receive Trip Packets.
    • Trip Packets include information on:
      • Travel
      • Itinerary
      • FAQs
      • Shots / Immunizations
      • Dress code
      • Passport/VISA
  • Legal Forms copies are due April 15th for Global and North American trips.
    • Submit by going to the “Prepare for Trip” tab on the website and click on, “Submit Required Documents”.

May

  • 3rd payment is due May 1st for Global trips.
    • Submit by going to the “Prepare for Trip” tab on the website and click on, “Submit Required Documents”.
  • Start looking for your AYC Product Box to arrive. You should receive your box before your trip departure.
    • If your Product Box is not received by May 18th, please email ayc@upci.org.
  • Look for communication from your Chaperones about additional trip details, ministry opportunities, travel day, schedule changes, other important items to prepare for your trip.
