Derek Borders was elected as lead pastor of Hope Tabernacle in June of 2021. After graduating High School in Norman, Oklahoma, he married his beautiful wife, Amanda. They now have three children — Bryce, Cayden, and Edyn. Pastor Borders is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and studied Graphic Communications at Oklahoma City Community College. Derek and Amanda love student ministry, having served for eighteen years as student pastors and ten concurrent years as Assistants to the Pastor in Norman. Currently, they also serve as Youth President for the Oklahoma District UPCI Youth Department.

Javier Loera and Brittney have been married for 10 years and are proud parents of Noah & Sophia. Javier and Brittney are the Lead Pastors for Lighthouse Apostolic in Slaton, TX overseeing all ministries, preaching, teaching, leadership development, and discipleship for new converts. Javier is the Texico Youth President. Prior to answering the call to Pastor and re-locate in Slaton, TX, Javier served in several roles in his home church, including Youth Pastoring, weekly teaching, multimedia, first impressions, outreach, and more. Currently, Javier is currently bi-vocational, and is the Director of Marketing for a commercial real estate company, along with owning several businesses specializing in marketing/branding & nonprofit governance consulting.
