Holland - 2014

On Saturday, July 22, 1620, a small boat, named “The Speedwell,” left Delfshaven in The Netherlands. On board were dozens of British men, women, and children. They started a journey which would become part of world history. They said goodbye to many well-wishing friends, family members, and acquaintances, and listened once more to their preacher, John Robinson. Then they knelt down in tears and prayed for a safe journey. Even the Dutch people on the quay who had observed many a ship departing for an unknown destination could not refrain from tears, as the tide took them away. Who were these people?  They called themselves “pilgrims.” These men and women who departed for what is now known as the United States of America would never have dreamed that one day a group of Apostolic Youth would return from the USA full of the Holy Ghost and fire! We invite you to come and experience revival in The Netherlands with missionaries Matt and Michelle Tuttle. You will be part of a pilgrimage to open the city of Amsterdam with a Holy Ghost crusade. You will enjoy visiting the country from which we received New Amsterdam or as we call it New York City. You will also be ministering in Dordrecht, the oldest city in Holland. Street evangelism, singing, and reaching the lost, along with the Dutch culture, will leave your life forever changed.

Testimonials

I have met so many people through AYC and my personal network spans globally because of it. But its not just ANY people that I have met. Its the servants. The ones who give up so much to take the gospel to every nation, and the ones who skimped and saved to experience one week giving of themselves to others. Those who have gone for a few months, to those who live on the mission field. Those overseas and those on home soil. The ones who face down loneliness, discouragement, and isolation to do what God has called them to do. I’m proud to know the servants. I have learned so much about the servants heart in the years of going on AYC trips. Every trip gives me more insight on how I can serve, both in my church and my community. I wouldn’t trade the experiences I’ve had, the places and things I’ve seen, the lessons I’ve learned, and the people I’ve met for anything offered.
