Halifax, Nova Scotia – Canada (Trip is full)

A mission trip to Canada is the answer to a call to reach the entire world. Canada is the second largest country in the world and one of the most multicultural countries in the world. The world lives here. Halifax is located on the beautiful East Coast of Canada, in the Province of Nova Scotia—a rugged, sea-swept peninsula famous for having the highest tides in the world, the birthplace of hockey, and former home to Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone. The capital city of Halifax is replete with several miles of waterfront boardwalk, syncing to the rhythm of the sea, and ocean air that is ready to greet you with its fragrant aroma. You might even want to try seafood fresh from the ocean. Visit iconic sites like the Halifax Citadel and Peggy's Cove Lighthouse, and experience the historic downtown Victorian architecture mixed together with modern design. It’s like no other. You will be drawn by the mission to reach this beautiful, multicultural city, to which the nations have come, and where French and Arabic serve as the dominant secondary languages. The revival is unrivaled in its potential. Hear the harvest calling. Help us in Halifax!

Testimonials

I have met so many people through AYC and my personal network spans globally because of it. But its not just ANY people that I have met. Its the servants. The ones who give up so much to take the gospel to every nation, and the ones who skimped and saved to experience one week giving of themselves to others. Those who have gone for a few months, to those who live on the mission field. Those overseas and those on home soil. The ones who face down loneliness, discouragement, and isolation to do what God has called them to do. I’m proud to know the servants. I have learned so much about the servants heart in the years of going on AYC trips. Every trip gives me more insight on how I can serve, both in my church and my community. I wouldn’t trade the experiences I’ve had, the places and things I’ve seen, the lessons I’ve learned, and the people I’ve met for anything offered.
