Nate and Ashley Smith serve New Life Church of Cabot as the Associate Pastor as well as Youth President in the Arkansas District. Together, we have over 10 years of student ministry experience. We have two boys, Oden and Judah. Ashley is an amazing pianist and music leader. Nate loves to connect with people. We can't wait to experience this trip with you!
Adam & Melanie Maddox
Adam and Melanie Maddox serves as the Assistant Pastors for Church on the Rock. He and his wife, Melanie, have served in ministry together since their marriage in 2008, working as Assistant Youth Pastor, Media Director, Hyphen Director, and Assistant Pastor. As Assistant Pastors it is the Maddox’s desire to help individuals know the Bible and to find their place and personal ministry within the kingdom of God. Adam has held various roles within the Alabama district, such as Section 4 Youth Director, District Youth Secretary, and currently Alabama Youth President. Melanie also serves as the Administrative Director at Church on the Rock. Melanie is a talented singer and can play piano. We have one daughter Adalyn Grace.
Some SERVE projects we will do: visit orphanage, paint a local church or school, paint playground equipment for a local school!
When I left for my AYC trip to Costa Rica, there was no way I could have anticipated what God had in store for me. I left for Costa Rica, hoping to see God perform miracles in the lives of those around me. I never imagined that he also planned on touching my life, and healing the insecurities that I had struggled with for years. It took me flying all the way to Costa Rica to realize something; The God who healed bodies and filled souls with his spirit in Central America, was at work back at my home in Maryland. I left AYC not feeling afraid to go back home, but confident that when I went home, he would be the same God. Since AYC, my faith has been amplified and I know that God is the same, no matter where I am!
